Who Are We?​
The EXPERTS (Empowered eXperts Promoting Equality, Reentry, & Transformative Solutions-EXPERTS), is a multi-state coalition of Justice Leaders from Georgia, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Texas, inspired by our own lived experiences, claiming our right to inclusion in the process of making positive change. Created as an organizing hub for people directly impacted by the criminal legal system to lead advocacy campaigns to end the impact of a criminal record.​ We ARE the people!

The Problem​
Nearly 80 million Americans have an unsealed criminal record, facing 40,000+ barriers to employment, housing, and essential services, resulting in permanent punishments, leading to post-conviction poverty. ​
