The EXPERTS (Empowered eXperts Promoting Equality, Reentry, & Transformative Solutions), is a statewide coalition of Justice Leaders across Texas, inspired by our own lived experiences, claiming our right to inclusion in the process of making positive change. Created as an organizing hub for people directly impacted by the criminal legal system to lead advocacy campaigns to end the impact of a criminal record. We ARE the people!

Over 9 million Texans have an unsealed criminal record, facing thousands of barriers to employment, housing, and essential services, resulting in permanent punishments, leading to post-conviction poverty.
